Amel Tuka won the semi-final race at 800 meters, thereby securing himself a place in the World Cup finals in Beijing.Our best athlete on 800 meters, and the best athlete in the world for 2015 as well, Amel Tuka, won in the semi-final race with a time of 1: 44.84, thus qualifying for the finals where he will meet the most reputable athletes of the world at 800 meters.Tuka kept his tempo during the whole race, and as we are already used to, brought the race to its end in a spectacular way when he came from 7th position to 1st place, thus securing himself a placement in the final race, which is scheduled for the 25th of August.Kszczot and Kipketer qualified for the finals in the first group, in the second group Rudisha and Balla, while in the third group, besides Tuka, Rotich qualified for the finals as well. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) women senior volleyball team won in the European Championship qualifiers in the Latvian town of Jelgava. In group F. Bosnians won host selection with a score of 3: 0, in sets (25:22, 25:14, 25:19).In the same group, the selection of Romania as host was defeated by Spain 2: 3 (25:22, 16:25, 23:25, 25:21, 13:15)Currently, Spain is the first on the table with 11 points (12: 6), the second is Romania with 11 points (13: 6), while BiH is third with a score of 8 points (10: 8).Placement in the final round of the European Championship in 2019 will be secured for the first and second-placed teams from the group.In the last game of qualifications, the BiH national team will welcome Romania on January 9 in Lukavac.
