Greensburg, In. — With a $5,000 grant from the Decatur County Community Fund through the American Red Cross firefighters and volunteers will install smoke detectors in area homes. Tuesday, August 15 and Friday, August 18 volunteers from Delta Faucet and the Greensburg Fire Department will install the life saving devices.As part of the “Home Fire Safety Campaign” the volunteers will go door-to-door in certain neighborhoods to speak with residents and properly install smoke detectors where needed.The program is also offered to county residents.
